Ryan Humbert, Diana Chittester, JD Eicher – Unique songwriter night, featuring Ohio musicians
Join Ryan Humbert, Diana Chittester, and JD Eicher for a night of acoustic music and stories “in the round.” All three musicians will be onstage at the same time, swapping songs and sharing in conversation. Come and be a part of this unique songwriter night, featuring Ohio musicians!
Drawing influence from musical greats like Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Lucinda Williams and Elvis Costello, Ryan Humbert’s songs mix the honesty and lyricism of roots music with the inventive, infectious arrangements of rock and pop.
Having performed with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, Train, Elvis Costello, Chris Isaak, Third Eye Blind, Matt Nathanson, Pete Yorn, Foreigner, The Zac Brown Band, Josh Ritter, Shelby Lynne, The Gin Blossoms and more, his unique style of American/Pop transcends barriers of genre and time, making his music as much at home in the 21st century as it would be in the classic rock era
Diana Chittester stands alone on stage with her arsenal of acoustic guitars. Her solo show is brought to life by her signature percussive multi-part playing, mimicking a full band on a solo acoustic guitar, blended with intelligent and articulate lyrics. The personal stories and vulnerability she shares on stage resonates with audiences as she invites them along on her journey. Diana’s energetic solo show provides audiences the full experience.
Hailing from Youngstown, OH, JD Eicher is singer and songwriter for the group, JD Eicher & the Goodnights. With their recent signing to the Rock Ridge Music label (Warner/ADA) and the release of their 3rd album, Into Place, the band has been keeping busy and earning a loyal following across the region. Their sound has been described as “subtle pop,” garnering favorable comparisons to acts like Coldplay, The Script, Keane, and Death Cab for Cutie. National AAA radio play of their single, “I’d Like to Get to Know You,” and a recent Olive Garden commercial featuring the band’s new song, “Aaron,” have helped boost the group’s visibility, and they’ve been hitting the pavement hard, sharing billing with acts such as Maroon 5, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, Kelly Clarkson, Sister Hazel, and more.
